New Friends, New Flag, New Fight - The Dawning Of A Rejuvinated World Freedom Federation

Our Allies And Protectors NEW Declare War On Athens and The Immortals! The Federation Once Again Pledges To Stand At Her Side


Good Morning/afternoon/evening Citizens.

On Feb 1st, 2010 our Allies NEW were drawn into the current global war via their treaty with FEAR (although I'm sure they're more than happy for a chance to kick some ass, just as we are). As a result, NEW are currently at war with Athens and The Immortals. Under our Protectorate Agreement with NEW, we are urged, but not obliged to help them out, and the latest news is that the Skymarshal and his Deputies will give the green light for military action against either or both of our current enemies.

The current overall stats for the war may look a little tenuous for our side- but Citizens, you must remember that all of the global wars are merely amoeboid clusters of smaller wars caused by the filtering-down of treaty chains, so it would be more accurate to compare the stats of our part of the war*:

Allies Standing Back-To-Back - The World Freedom Federation Signs An ODP With Veritas Aequitas!

Earlier today, after extended discussions, The World Freedom Federation agreed to an Optional Defense Pact with our great friends at Veritas Aequitas. All Citizens may now strut around feeling even more invincible than normal, as VA will now protect us, and we may similarly protect them if an unthinking enemy decides they no longer wish to live and attack them. The document was drawn up and presented to the WFF's government a few days ago, and has been signed and announced on the Cybernations Forums.

All Citizens are encouraged to lurk in their IRC Channel, and sign up to say hi on their forums!

Alliance-Wide Holidays: We Need To Celebrate More!


It occurs to me, dear reader, that while our Alliance is relatively small and young, we still have a grand culture, and a history we should celebrate more. Therefore, I present to you a list of Days that should be observed and celebrated by all Citizens in the World Freedom Federation:

Stand and Die Day: January 10
Commemorating the battle fought by Soldier against TPF and TSI, and the valor, courage and resiliance shown by our predecessors under insurmountable odds. The Soldier name for this battle differs slightly with the 'Official' name, and thus, it is an independent part of our heritage and history. While this battle predates most of the current members, we still have a veteran of the war in our Ministry, and we should mark this day with a game of 'Pin The Tail On The Veteran' and special 'Stand and Die Day' sigs should be distributed and worn with pride.

Skymarshal's Birthday: February 23
To recognise the importance placed on the position of Skymarshal in this Alliance, the Birthday of the current Skymarshal should be observed as a holiday. The current Skymarshal, Nord Belka turns 21 on this next occasion, and thus we should celebrate by posting pictures of ourselves consuming alcohol to celebrate.

Sahabat Week: October 1-7
To celebrate the signing of our Protectorate Agreement with NEW which essentially guaranteed our soverignty and place on the world stage, all non-official posts should have an Indonesian twist during the week, and again, we should all wear special sigs.

Federation Day: December 3 (?)
The day when Nord first started the AA years ago... This one's a given. Alcohol. Sigs. Jingoistic, pro-WFF slogans everywhere. Streamers. Fireworks. 21-gun salute, etc.
