Minecraft Server

So I have a Minecraft server now. it's a 16 slot SMP (survival multi-player) server. Costing $9.99 a month, (£6.10). I can easily afford it myself, but I may set up a donation option of some kind (probably PayPal as the server host supports PayPal payment).

The server is whitelisted (for security reasons). Never give out your Minecraft password under any circumstances.
Only people in the whitelist can access the server.

Note: IPs are shared between several servers, you must add the port or you'll end up on someone else's server. same goes with the URL.

I've not done much with the forums, but they're usable.

So I tinkered about on it for a few minutes when I had a chance, and when I exited it just exits, so does that mean that nothing gets saved specifically to a character? I mean, environmental things will change but before we exit we should put our things into chests I assume?

Inventory is saved when you pause the game. Environment is saved in real time as the server is running constantly.

There are many role play servers around, just search for roleplay on the minecraft forums.

I may eventually make an RP server myself (maybe within a few months).
