CELEBRATIONS AND TRIBULATIONS - THE FEDERATION PREPARES FOR WAR!!!

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening/Twilight.

By December 27, 2009, an ally of our Protectors, and an Alliance who we have had close relations with in the distant past, The Pheonix Federation came under attack from four other Alliances, being Athens, Ragnarok (RoK), \m/ and the Global Order of Darkness (GOD).

In response, our allies and Protectors, NEW, along with a legion of other Alliances have declared war in support of TPF. Another wave of war declarations is due from the other side at today's update. The World Freedom Federation, while technically could declare war Athens, RoK, \m/ or GOD due to the wording of Article VI of our Protectorate Agreement:

All signatories will have the option to assist any other signatory with an offensive military action in any manner they see fit. No signatory will be required to assist any other signatory with an offensive military action, though it is encouraged to help in any way possible.

will instead wait until NEW themselves are attacked, so that our forces can strip away the attacking combatants, and so we may wage war from a less vulnerable position strategically. This has been jointly decided by NEW and WFF Government members.

However, the World Freedom Federation WILL march to war to help protect our gracious protectors. See the forum links below to keep ahead of who's fighting who. Our side in the war now has the name 'The Coincidence Coalition' thanks to TOP bigwig, Liquid Mercury.

All citizens are reminded again to check into their respective squadrons according to their NS and to await further instuctions. Furthermore, if possible, get on and stay on IRC, and keep eyes on the Cybernations Forums and the Wiki to keep on top of these rapidly changing events.

Earlier today, occaisional pain in the arse, Zigbigadorlou, had his account banned on the Forums, and thus in-game as well. A key proponent of the President Harling incident early in WFF's history, he now has no more bearing on the Planet Bob, and the entire Alliance can celebrate Admin cleansing his game in this way.
